Outdoor Living Contractor in Surprise, AZ

Surprise sits in the far West Valley where summer ground temperatures routinely top 160°F and monsoon storms drop heavy, fast rain on hard caliche soil. That combination is rough on plants, pavers, and irrigation, so most of our Surprise builds focus on three things: shade, water efficiency, and base prep that won't shift after the first big storm.

Newer neighborhoods like Marley Park, Sterling Grove, and Asante have HOA design guidelines we work within every week, including approved paver colors, plant palettes, and wall heights. Older parts of Surprise around Bell Road tend to have larger lots with original 1990s irrigation we typically rebuild from the valve box out.

The soil here is dense caliche, which means we over-excavate, compact in lifts, and use a thicker road-base layer under pavers and turf than a contractor in sandier soil would. It costs a little more up front and it's why our installs still look flat five summers later.
