In the trade before Heat Wave
Justin had already been in this industry for a while when he and Nick got the chance to go out on their own. They took it, and started Heat Wave in 2022.
What Justin runs
Justin runs everything on the construction side. He's the one on camera in most of Heat Wave's project videos, showing how a fire pit is built to drain, how a patio cover is set up without posts in the way, and why every plant and tree gets a 90-day warranty.
Quality installs at a price people can afford
In his time in the trade, Justin watched prices swing and saw crews charging a lot more than what they were providing. His view is simple: a good crew does a quality install no matter who it works for, so there's no reason to overprice it. He would rather fit as much as he can into a homeowner's budget than price them out of a yard they can enjoy.
In his own words
"We really wanted to do something that could bring quality installs to people without being outrageously over budgeted."
"At the end of the day, like a good crew, no matter what business they're in, is going to do a quality install."
"I don't want to overprice their yard right out of something that they can enjoy."
"All of our plants and trees, we warranty for 90 days."
